Hows an average holiday like? What do people normally do? Do you book a ticket yourself and proclaim that you are goin on bagpacking/freeneasy, check in to the nearby hotel. Den start to walk ard the place. First day jus reached, so jus take it easy, have the local meals and sleep early, prepare for the busy days ahead.
Wake up and leave for popular landmarks and tourist attractions. Look ard, walk walk, look, and leave. Pay $$$ to go some museuem, damn big. Locals say needs almost the entire day to apprieciate the place, but prove them wrong by sprinting across the museuem and finish in less den an hour. By den should be mid-noon liao? Start to feel tired and wanna head back to hotel and sleep.
No joke. Returns to hotel asap and wash up and sleep.
Next day move on to the next city/state, cos already ‘visit finish the place liao’. But hw to go there sia? Wad mode of transportation? Nvm jus walk and see. Stay where ah? Nvm the previous hotel also find on the spot 1. Go there see wad ah? Nvm jus ask the taxi driver.
End up took X2 the amt of time to reach the wrong place. Dun even tok about go where sightseeing, we have been walking for ages, faster get a hotel first and take a break man.
And in the end found 1. Damn ex sia, $300 a night. Bo pian, only 1 here, summore so tired liao. Hungry, go out eat dinner.
Fuck. As I step out the hotel, across the road I see this signboard,
Hotel XYZ $20 per night only!!

WTF!
Fuck it man, lets find some local travel agencies and join some random tour group.
Wun you wanna why me why I didn find out all these things before hand?
Hence you ask.
“Huh wad u mean sia, free n easy wad, no need plan 1, jus go with the flow, wan go where jiu where. Holiday jus relax wad, so stress plan for wad?”

Eh gt some1 shocked ah? Why you so weird like me ah? I tot I was the only 1 to think that this kind of holiday is nonsense.
Ya lor, I also tot so. I tot that if u nt follwing tour guide, who follows the fully packed program prepared by the travel agency, of the places to visit, mode of transportation, meals, place to stay and other nessesary things that need to be taken care of, den you will have to plan the trip yourself which is very xiong.
Anyway the above is a fictional summary of a fucked up holiday imo. My trip with, was not THAT bad. Well you could co….. Nah I shouldn say anymore.
I believe that years ago… During jc… after, no probably during the trip itself, with my, I prolly told myself that I will nvr travel with again. Atrocious planning, the holiday was like amazing race, less the amazing part. We jus keep travelling and travelling. Nvr stop at one place to explore abit, jus keep goin.
But look now, history repeats itself. Making the same mistake again.
No Im not gonna let that happen.
That’s why I have taken so much actions, to change my fate.
But it proves too difficult, for I have fallen today, hence why im kp’ing about it. But nvm, today I shall rest well. Tml I will continue my fight.

in the end i still lost the battle lol. but nvm the time waste spend on some spiritual reflection, to improve myself lol. tml night back in singapore liao, time to study.
