AFAX 2010 2nd day

Wake up damn early, but still nt as early as initially planned haha. but neways managed to reach ard 9am. wah bloody lot of ppl sia.


Queue frm 1 end to the other side, and even extending into one of the "events room"

as u can see frm the pictures, that's the other end of the imba queue -.-


after getting in, gt another queue again for the screening for the disappearance movie sia

only manage to get like.... i think row M seats. Nt like on the first day we get imba front row seats haha

So proceed to watch The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi.


i rmb years back, when i read the novels. this volume was so exciting. i read until 5~6am in the morning, 1 shot clear to the end. this volume imba. surprises at every corner. not until the last 3mins of the movie den can catch a breath. it was a hell of a ride.


was scared that the movie will suffer frm terrible decay. since season 2 for some reason didn seem to be very entertaining. recently also gt UBW movie, whose original work was so imba, but the movie adaptation wasn't THAT good, tho seems like its good enuff to get some ppl interested in the original series.


so GLAD that it turned out to be quite PERFECT lol. very entertaining, tho dun hav the excitement like when i first read it, but hw to surprise some1 who already know wads gonna happen lol. but everything was done nicely.

i like it they have those little subtle funny scenes, such as the 1 where haruhi drive kyon away frm getting warmth frm the heater, so he had to go to the CPU and warm his hands there lol.

introduction, delivery and conclusion, all wonderful.

very quite happy with the movie. despite afa x being a little quite DISAPPOINTING, i wouldn mind to see it as i paid $30 simply for disappearance haha.

Den watch the cosplay competition. To tell the truth, watching years of cosplay competitions, i think probably  only 5% was good. the rest i can only say i applaud their courage xD. But its nt easy serious. Firstly, doing a imba replica of the costume is nt easy, especially when some ppl wan to chu stun. like this imba crazy gundam i saw last year

2ndly, need to do some skit/performance which is NOT CHEEZY, let alone entertaining.

Seriously, i think if a grp of girls cosplay as the k-on girls and perform a song nicely, sure win lol.

So neways, like usual, spent most of the time watching the cosplay contest feeling embarrassed for the contestants xD.

After that jus walk ard see stuffo. Many things see before liao leh, nuthin exciting also haha. ANYWAY i also jus came back frm AKIHABARA jus a few months ago, having visit the place 3 times on JCC? so its gonna take something SPECIAL to give me a shock.

This year also nt a lot of ppl cosplay, much lesser as compared to last year. Nvr took much picture, but heres 2 characters frm umineko no naku koro ni haha

Pretty much sums everything up haha. I think i can't be satisfied with attending AFA anymore, need to cosplay next year xD
