ktv and it's etiquettes

haha that episode was so enjoyable. absolutely can relate with all those stuff they mentioned haha. but i think sometimes i also forget to observe the ktv etiquette fully haha oops. at least my understanding of the ktv etiqutte that is.

Basics such as spamming 8~10 of songs u wan to sing, worst still when its all frm the same artist, even worst still is when u pick all the popular songs, suppose to be like can only pick a few popular songs per person; every1 loves/want to pick those songs too. and summore its nt like others can pick the same song if it was already picked, thats also another unspoken rule. at least for me, i feel like by doing that u like tryin to 踢馆 liddat haha

Jump queue and insert songs is no need say 1. if any1 thinks there is nothing wrong den i dunno wad to say lol. well of course unless that person sit 1 corner for 5 years nvr sing any songs or that he or she came late den still acceptable.

Another impt etiquette some ppl fail to observe is singing song picked by some1 else. sometimes ppl sing right frm the start as if it was picked for them to sing lol. even if they come in halfway, uninvited, also quite as frustrating. ESPECIALLY if that song was one of those performance-type songs, which as said by xiao S "为了要慲足自己的欲望", dreaming that u are 蕭敬騰 or something lol. If it was a normal-type song den can mix sing no issue, given that they do it properly.

i dun mean have to sing nice. come on we are singing for fun nt holding a concert, but wad i meant by doing it properly is that u observe the etiquettes.

Like the person picking the song should be allowed to sing the earlier half of the first verse, den followed by the 2nd guy for the later half.

Den the first guy will sing the first half of the chorus, den followed by the 2nd guy.

Den here the 2nd guy have to start the 2nd verse first, cos usually at the 2nd verse, the 2nd part will be zhng'ed, so the better part should give the guy who picked the song. Den usually the first person will be happy with wadeva order the rest of the song turns out, well still gt 1 last part.

And often, each song will have its "most imba part", like maybe imba high, imba technique, or wadeva other shitz. obviously that part should give the guy who picked it right? but some ppl jus ks man. lol. having said that, somehow i gt a feeling i probably did that at least a few times before xD.

well of course the above standard format is nt absolute. if both party or grp of ppl are very familiar with the song, they can sing the song their own way, doing beautiful blendings and harmonies, or echoing after certain select lines; stretto, etc, which is very nice and fun.
