scary ending scene of Watanagashi-hen

like i mentioned before, higurashi is a very scary anime

back in sec skool when i first watch it, it was precisely this scene, that made me stop watching higurashi

it took me... at least 5 years later, which is recently, den i manage to finish watching higurashi.

higurashi is fantastic, despite the fact it was suffering frm adaptation decay. i dun even wan to think how its like in the original sound novel....


neways jus now i reading tv tropes and stumbled upon this

holy shit.

i can still remember that scene clearly. it was past midnight, im in my room. my computer is against the wall, so im facing the wall and there is a lot of empty space behind me ( u know wad this means especially when watching/reading scary stuff )

i off the lights, there is complete darkness. i even put my earpiece on.

after watching that scene.... i didn dare to turn my head. i dun even turn my body back. i stood up from my chair, walk backwards to my bed, lie down, cover myself with my blanket, and fall asleep 3 hours later

i clicked on the link to the person's profile and saw his profile. the dp might look stupid/idiotic normally. but if u know the above mentioned scene like i do, when i see that dp, i feel a chill down my spine. reading the above description brings back my memory of that night again.

im damn curious to see for myself how that scene was done in the manga version ( even more for the sound novel ), but i scared i cannot recover from the shock......
